Who we are

Who we are

Get to know us and you’ll discover that we are just like you in most ways, we are real people in desperate need of a mighty God. As a church we believe in Covenant keeping Good according to Nehemia 1 Verse 5 and we describe ourselves this way.

CAG members and leadership Believe in a Covenant-Keeping God by trusting that God is faithful to His promises and keeps His word throughout generations.

In our Church we treat a covenant as a sacred promise initiated by God as it involves commitments, blessings and it come with a condition of obeying his commandments.

Our Statement of Faith

Our Statement of Faith

CAG statement of faith set out for us. We know that God can do anything, so we dream big here with our vision!

1. To be a Church that ignites and keeps revival fires aflame: We want to do this both individually and as a Church, through spirit-filled ministry. Zechariah 2:5; Psalm 104:4

2. To be a strong discipling Church: Discipling using effective training, making "every believer a minister." Ephesians 4:11-13

3. To maintain intimate fellowship and discipleship: Doing this through the ministry of small groups, "making the large church small." Acts 2:46-47

4. To develop and maintain an intercessory prayer ministry: This will provide a covering for all areas of ministry in our church, community, and our world. Ezekiel 22:30; Isaiah 56:7; Chronicles 7:14

5. To raise and equip children and youth: We want to equip them with wisdom and abilities to daily walk in the power of God. Acts 1&2

6. To be a ministry center: We want to be able to accommodate compatible ministries that will enable the Body of Christ to fulfill the Great Commission. Romans 12: 4-13

7. To have evangelistic outreach: So that we are accompanied by genuine expressions of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19; Matthew 25: 35-40

8. To uphold the family unit: We want to equip our members with the Biblical Principles and resources it needs to flourish. Ephesians 5:21-24; Ephesians 6:1-4; Deuteronomy 6:7

Our Aim

Our Aim

The Covenant Assemblies of God (CAG) aims to have healthy members, missional churches that plant more such churches, with a focus on both strengthening established Assemblies and starting new ones. The overarching vision is to see more disciples among more populations in a more caring and just world.

This involves pursuing Christ and His priorities, both in the church and in the world (Matt. 28:16-20; Acts 14:7, 21-23; 15:35; Rom. 10:14-17; Titus 1:5-9 )
